Seniority: Associate Level, 2-5 years
The Marketing Specialist is an associate-level role and is responsible for supporting the execution and implementation of digital and traditional marketing campaigns for BlueByrd and our clients.
This role is largely a utility support role, and is excellent for an associate-level marketer who wants to gain hands-on experience running marketing campaigns, coordinating with clients, working with creative teams, etc. They will be customer-facing and interact with many of our partners, so they must be an excellent communicator, have lots of enthusiasm, and be ready to contribute. The day-to-day responsibilities will shift with the needs of the business and our clients but will always be in the realm of marketing and project support.
This role is a great opportunity for a generalist to gain exposure to multiple areas of marketing prior to deciding on a specialization. The marketing specialist will work on many different kinds of projects, including (but not limited to):
- Brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
- Social media campaigns
- Search and programmatic campaigns
- Content marketing campaigns
- Website builds and website strategy
- Email/automation workflows and campaigns
Essential Functions
The Marketing Specialist will:
- Act as a support role for Fractional CMO’s
- Interact with clients/vendors/partners on an as-needed basis
- Engage in minor market research to support client initiatives
- Manage content for client websites in multiple content management systems
- Implement email marketing campaigns and workflows in multiple marketing automation tools
- Coordinate and implement social media campaigns, both paid and organic
- Mild graphic creation using pre-defined templates
- Support media team in execution of paid media campaigns, including search, programmatic, video, etc.
- Implement tracking protocols and pixels using Google Tag Manager
- Report weekly internally and monthly to clients on campaign performance and health
- Identify opportunities for improvement for client campaigns and websites
- Assist with continuous development of reporting and measurement processes
- Other hands-and-feet marketing assignments as needed to support our clients’ campaigns
- Keep pace with search, display, and social media industry trends and developments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent field, or 3 years applicable experience in lieu of degree
- 2-3 years of experience, preferably in an agency
- Comfortable working in HubSpot, Mailchimp, Pardot, Sprout Social, LinkedIn Advertising, Facebook Business Manager or other social media, email marketing or automation platforms
- Working knowledge of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
- Strong writing and communications skills
- A sustained curiosity about marketing
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients
- Aptitude in problem solving and strong attention to detail
